How can I know when it’s time to go to the dentist?
We (along with the American Dental Association) recommend that everyone should visit the dentist at least twice a year for preventive care like dental checkups and teeth cleanings. This proactive approach can help most people largely avoid common dental issues and bigger problems in the future. It’s also wise to schedule an appointment if you experience any out-of-the-ordinary symptoms, like pain, so we can take care of whatever is wrong before it becomes worse.
Do you see children at your dental practice?
Yes! RnR Dentistry is able to serve smiles of all ages and help people at every stage of life. So, we’re happy to see children, teens, adults, and seniors. Whether someone is coming in for their first checkup or to acquire a denture, Dr. Rivera is more than able to provide what they need at the highest possible level.
Should I use a manual or electric toothbrush?
In truth, both types of toothbrushes are effective at removing cavity-causing plaque and bacteria, so you should choose whichever one you’re willing to use consistently! For children and people with mobility issues, however, electric brushes tend to be a little easier to use because the device does most of the work for them.
Why would I get Botox® from a dentist?
As part of their training, dentists gain a deep understanding of facial anatomy and also learn how to provide safe and comfortable injections, making Botox® treatment a natural addition to their services. Plus, on top of reducing wrinkles, Botox® can provide immediate relief from jaw pain due to TMJ issues and help someone stop grinding their teeth while they sleep.
Will you take my dental insurance?
Most likely! We are in-network with Delta Dental PPO and Delta Premier, and we’re able to accept many other popular plans as well. To get a better idea of how we can use your policy, just give our team a call, and we’ll take the time to go over your coverage so you know exactly what to expect.
What are other ways I can make my dental care affordable?
If you currently don’t have dental insurance or want to get a treatment that won’t be covered by your plan, then we recommend signing up for CareCredit. It allows you to space out the cost of treatment across a few or several months with low-to-no interest. You can find a plan that is perfect for your budget in minutes, and to get started, simply visit our For Patients page.
